Daily mowing and fertilizer: build one lawn-care plan
Frequent mowing and fertilizer should follow the same lawn-care plan. Mowing manages height. Fertilizer supplies nutrients when the lawn needs them. More of either does not automatically improve the turf.
Start with the soil and grass
Identify the turf species and use a soil test before choosing nutrients. Bermuda, zoysia, centipede, and tall fescue have different needs. Follow the relevant seasonal guidance and product label.
Do not feed a dormant lawn to force growth. If the grass looks poor, check water, shade, compaction, pests, and mowing before assuming a nutrient shortage.
Keep the mower in step with growth
When growth increases, shorten the mowing interval enough to keep each cut light. Check the cutting height and blade condition. Leave suitable clippings on the lawn rather than treating them as waste, but clear clumps that would smother it.

Coordinate treatment days
Tell the lawn-care provider that a robotic mower operates on the property. Follow any treatment instructions for watering, mowing, and keeping people and pets off the area. Resume the mower only when those instructions allow it.
