Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement

By subscribing to Trimly's robotic mowing service (“Service”), you (“Customer”) agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Our Service includes the installation, maintenance, and operation of GPS-guided robotic mowers on your property.

You must be at least 18 years old and the owner or authorized tenant of the property where services will be provided.

2. Subscription Terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. Upon cancellation:

  • We will remove all equipment from your property at no additional charge
  • No cancellation fees or early termination penalties apply
  • Any prepaid amounts for unused months will be refunded

Pricing may be adjusted with 30 days advance notice. Annual prepayment discounts are non-refundable for months of service already rendered.

3. Property Requirements

Your property must meet certain requirements for service, including:

  • Accessible lawn areas with suitable terrain (slopes under 24° for standard mowers)
  • A suitable outdoor location for the charging station with access to a standard power outlet
  • Clear identification of property boundaries, gardens, pools, and other no-mow zones

Our team will assess your property during the initial consultation and reserves the right to decline service if the property is not compatible.

4. Equipment Ownership

All robotic mowing equipment, charging stations, MowGates, and accessories remain the property of Trimly LLC at all times. Customers may not modify, sell, lease, or otherwise transfer any Trimly equipment. Intentional damage to equipment may result in repair or replacement charges.

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Keep the mowing area free of debris, toys, hoses, and other obstacles
  • Notify Trimly of any hazards, property changes, or landscaping work that may affect the mower
  • Provide reasonable access to the property for installation, maintenance, and equipment retrieval
  • Not interfere with or attempt to repair, modify, or relocate the equipment

6. Liability and Insurance

Trimly maintains comprehensive general liability insurance covering our equipment and operations. We are responsible for:

  • Normal wear and operation of our equipment
  • Repairs and maintenance of the robotic mower
  • Replacement of stolen equipment (theft insurance included)

Trimly is not liable for: pre-existing lawn conditions, damage caused by undisclosed hazards, or interruptions due to extreme weather, power outages, or force majeure events. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trimly's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

All Trimly trademarks, logos, website content, and software are the intellectual property of Trimly LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Greenville County, South Carolina, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Small claims court actions are exempt from this arbitration requirement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trimly LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through our website at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
